A large number of successful women in business started at the bottom and worked their way up to the C-suite and beyond. But in order to get there many of them had to overcome enormous mindset challenges

While factors like great timing, consistency, diligence, hard work and an excellent support team all contribute to the success of any business, a leader who knows the source from whom all of their blessings flow is they key to true success.

Abundance vs Scarcity mindset

An abundance mindset is an idea that there is enough wealth, resources, relationships, love, and success to go around for everyone. It is a highly positive and hopeful way of thinking. It has grown to be more than a simple idea, but also a way of life.

A scarcity mindset, on the other hand, is the polar opposite. It’s the belief that a successful and fruitful life depends on a finite amount of resources. It can get very negative for individuals who think this way because they’re always thinking about how there isn’t enough for everybody, that their opportunities and money will eventually run out.

Abundant Leaders think differently

Leaders with an abundance mindset are happy, driven, generous, and inspiring. They foster a culture that’s driven by creativity and high performance.  And they often foster collaboration over competition. Business owners like this believe in their employees and want to see them thrive. They also embrace all challenges as opportunities to learn and improve.

People who believe in abundance knows that everything comes from God. They understand that He is their source and they put full faith and trust in Him.  These types of people don’t worry about a thing because they trust that God’s got their back.

Women in business who want success reject the scarcity mindset.

Entrepreneurs with scarcity mindsets view the world through a lens of lack. Their actions come from a context of fear. They are afraid that there won’t be enough opportunities and not enough business to go around. And often are reluctant to invest in things that can help their company grow and because deep down they feel that failure is inevitable. This is a horrible way to live life.

If you want to succeed in business you must develop an abundant mindset!

The great news is that you can train yourself to have one. Abundance and scarcity are not circumstances – or your representative of your current state of living or business. They are a way of viewing life’s opportunities.
